Thank you, and a correction

The Letter of Support passed two thousand names this week. Thank you. The number is the first thing we are asked for in every room we walk into, and it has done more for this program than any drawing we have produced.

Now the correction.

From March until this week, the travel time given on this website was wrong. We had 11 minutes end to end for Phase 1. The correct figure is 13. The error came from an early line speed assumption that was revised in February and not carried through to the website, which is nobody’s fault but ours.

Thirteen minutes is still thirteen minutes and the case does not turn on it. But a number on a public page was wrong for four months, and several people repeated it in good faith because we published it, which is the part that bothers us.

We have gone back through every figure on the site against the memoranda. Two others were rounded inconsistently and have been made to match. If you find another, please write and tell us, and we will fix it and say so here.
