Frequently asked ·
Is there room in the Beltline?
Yes. An aerial line takes up almost nothing on the ground, because it isn’t on the ground.

Support towers occupy approximately sixty square feet at grade and are spaced at intervals of 200 to 300 meters depending on terrain. Between towers the Beltline is unaffected. Cabins clear the trail surface by a minimum of eight meters at the lowest point of the span.
For comparison, a single at-grade station platform occupies more surface area than every tower in a mile of aerial alignment combined.
